The super deep ProLiant ML330 G6 is a 5U tower server that can make one hell of a racket when you turn it on, giving even the noisiest rack servers a run for their money. Taking off the fascia reveals four quick release caddies, two housing drives in our review unit.

The good Easy to use DLNA compliant Cheap The bad Only RAID 1 Requires internet access for many features With the average consumer's digital storage needs ever increasing, Netgear has released the Stora, a network-attached storage (NAS) unit for the home. While NAS's are usually restricted to the corporate level, the Stora can act as both a storage and media server to almost all computers and devices within the home.

The good Good suite of messaging tools Access to Ovi Store Decent 3.2-megapixel camera Well-spaced QWERTY keyboard The bad Cramped navigation panel Lacklustre screen 2.5mm headphone socket Muffled earpiece speaker Design Twitter junkies and Facebook fiends, this one is for you. A budget-priced slider with a full-QWERTY keyboard is just what the doctor ordered to cure that aching texting thumb, plus Nokia has bundled some handy apps to boot. The QWERTY keyboard is surprisingly well-sized, with each key about 1cm in length, making it extremely easy to hit the right key when tapping out long messages

The good Solid performance Good adjustability through sturdy stand The bad Build quality issues in the frame Inset panel causes reflections Backlight bleed around the edges Video playback leaves a bit to be desired Design and features Sporting a classy, faux brushed aluminium finish and a stand that offers more than the usual fare, HP's latest foray in the 22-inch widescreen market is attractive and feels well-built. The initial set up was a breeze; the unit had a heft and resistance that usually isn't found in monitors in this price bracket, giving it a feel of quality. The stand itself was a particular highlight — rather than offering the usual tilt function that 22-inch monitors are restricted to, it also offered pivoting through a rubberised turntable underneath the base, making turning the monitor easier

The good Full range of detection and removal tools Effective behavioural detection engine ThreatFire The bad PC Tools' speed performance was unimpressive, and could be faster The interface is usable at the top level, but drilling down to more-advanced settings can be confusing and cluttered Users hoping for a fully functional trial should look elsewhere Historically, PC Tools' flagship product has been the reasonably priced Spyware Doctor. The full suite comes with the malware detection and removal tools that Spyware Doctor is known for as well as the recently enhanced ThreatFire behavioural detection engine, antivirus detection, spam filtering, layered browsing guards and a firewall. In terms of raw features, it's comparable to other internet security suites

The good Four-way SMP Windows 7 hosts/guests Aero interface for Vista and Windows 7 guests 3D display enhancements VM pause XP mode compatibility Virtual printing ESX guest support The bad Virtual printing is not automatically enabled in existing VMs The seventh generation of VMware's venerable desktop virtualisation platform, VMware Workstation, includes support for Windows 7 hosts and guests as one of its key features. However, that's not all it has to offer, as we discovered when we downloaded the new version and put it through its paces. Upgrading As with other updates to VMware Workstation, one of the good things about version 7 is that you don't have to worry about migrating existing virtual machines or settings when upgrading

The good Slim for a powerhouse 15-inch laptop 1080p screen Solid construction. The bad No internal optical drive Some Blu-ray playback issues Very expensive Editor's note: while our review sample shipped with 6GB RAM, final retail models ship with either 4GB or 8GB in Australia. A big brother to HP's 13-inch Envy 13, this upscale 15-inch model crams more computing power into a mid-size laptop than anyone outside of Alienware's m15x

The good Slick, modern design Big touch pad Bright display The bad Very expensive Heavier than it looks No backlit keyboard Limited ports and connections Even a cursory glance will tell you the HP Envy 13 is a very nicely made premium 13-inch laptop. It's a solid slab of aluminium and magnesium, etched with interesting visual details, and filled with capable components, such as a dual-core low-voltage Intel CPU and discrete ATI graphics. It's also clearly a shot across the bow of the 13-inch MacBook Pro, even if Hewlett-Packard leaves that challenge unstated.
